Where's My Purse!? Unfortunately, Grandma spent the last year of her life in a nursing home. Alzheimer's had taken its toll and she was often worried someone had stolen her purse. The phrase "where's my purse?" was one she repeated and is now used (mostly in jest!) by my family and friends often. Every time I say it or hear it, I think of her. This quilt layout may appear confusing, but it's made with one simple block. I can only imagine the confusion that Grandma felt in her later years. It makes the memories made with her even sweeter. The dress in the picture is Grandma's wedding dress, and the hat belonged to my Grandpa. by Julie Letvin Quilt Size 56" x 68"
