Standing Watch
On the bluff, just below Grandma and Grandpa's
house, there is a large rock that's referred to as
Black Hawk Rock. Chief Black Hawk was a
Sauk leader. It is said that he kept watch and
counseled his people from this rock along the
bluffs of the Mississippi River.
