Whether it was barges, bald eagles, or maybe even the Mississippi Queen riverboat, there's always something to see while watching the river. In this quilt, the black background fabric represents the "muddy Mississippi." I decided on stars because I remember sitting on the backyard swing, star gazing with Grandma. The chain block in the quilt sparkles like the lightening bugs that we used to capture in glass jelly jars from Grandma's kitchen. Muddy Waters by Julie Letvin Quilt Size 69" x 87"
